Part comedy, part concert and part midlife awakening, Middle Raged is a fresh, fierce and funny celebration of what really happens when women hit midlife. It’s the ultimate girls’ night out.
Created from hundreds of real stories shared by women across Australia, and featuring a powerhouse all-female cast and live band, this electrifying night of song and storytelling shines a spotlight on the riotous chaos of aging, raging and changing.
Featuring songs by Missy Higgins, Gillian Cosgriff, Laura Murphy, Tim Minchin, Sia and P!nk, Middle Raged celebrates the power and potential of a glorious mid-life and beyond, inspiring women to honour their own voice with laughter, song and sisterhood.
Because when you’re over the hill… the view is incredible!

Dear audience,
Welcome to Middle Raged.
[Insert a brief reflection on why this show exists – what inspired them to write it, the moment the idea was born, or the stories that sparked it.]
For the past five years, we have been collecting stories from women all over Australia. [Insert a sentence about the hundreds of women who shared their experiences, their honesty, and their trust in us to tell their stories.]
This show is for you. It's for every woman who has ever felt invisible, exhausted, or unsure of who she is anymore. It's for the women who are tired of being told to calm down, smile more, or disappear quietly.
[Insert a sentence about the themes of the show – mental load, invisibility, rage, friendship, reinvention, third act – or a specific moment that captures its heart.]
We are so grateful to have you here tonight. Thank you for taking a chance on this – our very first season.
We hope you laugh. We hope you feel seen. And we hope you leave knowing you are not alone.
With love and gratitude,
Queenie van de Zandt & Tiffany Noack

Acknowledgement of Country
Middle Raged respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we create, rehearse and perform. We pay our deepest respect to Elders past, present and emerging, and recognise their ongoing connection to Country, culture and community.
We acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded. This land always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.
We extend that respect to all First Nations peoples who join us in the audience tonight, and to the women whose stories have shaped this show.
Special Thanks
Thank you to every woman who shared their story with us – whether through an interview, a survey, a Facebook post, or a conversation in a hallway. This show exists because you trusted us with your truth.
To our workshop audiences, who sat in rooms and gave us their honest feedback, helping us shape and reshape this show over and over again – thank you. You made it better.
To the many, many people who have supported this project over the past five years – in ways big and small – we see you and we are so grateful.
To our families and friends, who have held down the fort, understood the late nights, and never stopped believing – thank you. We couldn't have done this without you.
To Kai Mann-Robertson, for five years of design support, patience, brilliance and this beautiful digital program – you have shaped how the world sees this show. Thank you.
To the team at Andrew Kay & Associates, for believing so strongly in this project and giving us the platform to bring it to life.
And most importantly, to our daughters – Harper and Billy – who have watched us disappear into this world for five years, who have asked "how was Middle Raged today?" and who have been our biggest cheerleaders. This is for you.
With love and gratitude,
Queenie van de Zandt & Tiffany Noack
